HIGH INPUT COSTS: A daily wage labourer carrying white cottage cheese from Sialdah station to a nearby wholesale market in Kolkata. The wholesale prices of white cottage cheese have increased on rising milk prices. Currently, they range between Rs 60 and 70 a kg. The cheese is used for making Kolkata's famous rosgulla sweets.
