Aluminium Casters Association of India (Alucast) has set up its Coimbatore chapter. The new chapter is the seventh for Alucast which has its headquarters in Pune. Alucast's other chapters are Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore. Mr Ramesh, Managing Director of Alphacraft Pvt Ltd and Mr W.S. Satchidanandam, Managing Director of Roots Cast Pvt Ltd, were elected as Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively of the new body, which will also have a nine-member executive committee.
