Union Bank hikes FCNR deposit rates

Mumbai, March 31

Union Bank of India has increased the interest rates on FCNR(B) term deposits by 25 basis points, with effect from March 29.

The interest rate on dollar deposits of one-two years is 5.15 per cent (4.7 per cent). For two-three year deposits, the rate is 5.13 per cent (4.71 per cent). For three-four years, the new rate is 5.11 per cent (4.7 per cent). On deposits of four-five years, the rate is 5.11 per cent (4.72 per cent). On five year deposits, the new rate is 5.11 per cent (4.75 per cent), said a press release from the bank.
