Midhani sales, profit up

Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (Midhani) has achieved an all-time high sales turnover of Rs 151.4 crore and cash profit of Rs 13.8 crore for the financial year 2005-06. The defence public sector undertaking also has an order book valued at Rs 294 crore, according to the provisional results announced by the Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Devasis Chowdhury. Midhani has achieved a sales turnover of Rs 131.35 crore and profit after tax of Rs 6.8 crore during fiscal 2004-05.
