HPCL Visakh refinery achieves target

HPCL Visakh refinery has exceeded its installed capacity of 7.5 million tonnes per annum for the third consecutive year, according to a press release issued here on Friday. The refinery is undertaking a major project — clean fuels project. A project is also underway to double the capacity to 15 mt per annum. Production of mixed xylenes, a petrochemical feedstock, development of infrastructure and setting up a single buoy mooring for receiving crude are some of the other plans of the refinery.
