Varun Shipping plans Singapore listing

Varun Shipping Company Ltd today informed the BSE that it has lodged its preliminary prospectus with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and is seeking to list its Singapore Depository Shares on the main board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.

DBS Bank Ltd is the sole global co-ordinator, book-runner, and lead manager of the secondary listing, while ICICI Securities Inc and Macquarie Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd are co-managers.

Varun Shipping has a Singapore subsidiary called VSC International Pte Ltd, which was incorporated in 1995, the statement said.
