IOB hikes FCNR deposit rates

Indian Overseas Bank has raised interest rates on FCNR deposits across maturities. The bank has raised the rate payable for deposits for periods over one year and less than two years to 5.15 per cent (4.9 per cent), for 2-3 years to 5.131 per cent (4.88 per cent), for 3-4 years to 5.111 per cent (4.86 per cent), for 4-5 years to 5.107 per cent (4.86 per cent) and for five years to 5.109 per cent (4.86 per cent). The bank has foreign currency deposits of $310 million (Rs 1,400 crore).
