Mr Sridhar G. Bhide and Mr K.B. Muniraja Ballal have been re-elected as President and Vice-President of Mangalore Agriculturists' Sahakari Sangha (MASS) Ltd. The new board of MASS Ltd unanimously elected the office-bearers here on Friday. Mr Bhide was the President in the previous board also. Mr Bhide told Business Line that new board would take steps to open new branches in Gujarat and Maharashtra to boost its sales in those States. There are also plans to open more arecanut procuring centres in arecanut-growing areas, he added. The term of 18-member board of MASS Ltd will be for five years from April 1, 2006.
