Session on blood donation

Our Bureau

Thiruvananthapuram, April 2

Surgicals major Terumo Penpol, in association with the Federation of Residents Association of Thiruvananthapuram , is organising an awareness session on blood donor motivation on April 7, the World Health Day. Explaining the context, a Terumo Penpol spokesperson said blood donors all over the world have been reduced to a minority community, in respect of which India is no exception. Motivational levels are lacking, and people do not donate blood as often as they should. Dedicated people are needed to motivate, recruit, and retain voluntary blood donors. These issues will be discussed at the session, the spokesperson added.
