IIM fees

The IIMs are in the news again. This time not for new highs in salary offers for campus recruitment of the mint-fresh management messiahs from these schools, but for the proposal to increase their fees. What is the proposed fee increase? A Rs 25, 000 per annum or 12 per cent of their present fees. This hike could rock the very economic foundation of management education at IIMs.

Some re-assurance to anxious parents, their wards and the recruiting companies is in order.
