New Delhi , April 3

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) expects participation from over 70 international buyers across 12 countries in the forthcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week from April 5-9, to be held in the Capital.

Buyers from fashion houses who have confirmed participation include Harvey Nichols (London), Maria Luisa (Paris), L'e claireur (Paris), Selfridges (London), Harrods (London), De Bejinkorf (Amsterdam), and Sunmotoyama (Japan), among others.

Ms Rathi Vinay Jha, Director-General of FDCI, said: "We are pleased to announce that both domestic and international buyer participation is higher this year than ever before. Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week will provide a platform to facilitate the development of trade opportunities for both buyers and designers, thus promoting Indian fashion in its entirety."
