Bangalore, April 3

The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, today announced its intention to hike the annual fee for its post-graduate programme in management.

Prof Amarnath Krishnaswamy, Head, Communications Unit, said that Institute has increased the fee by Rs 15,000. "The decision to hike the fee from Rs 1,50,000 to Rs 1,65,000 was taken at the board meeting held recently," he said. Dr Prakash G. Apte, had earlier told `Business Line' that the fee hike would be to rationalise the disparity in the fee structure that currently exists among the six IIMs. Meanwhile, all the other IIMs have already announced the fee hike decision.
