Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd has announced the launch of `Z&D', a zinc sulphate formulation, indicated as adjuvant therapy along with ORS (oral rehydration salt) in the management of acute and persistent diarrhoea. In a press release here on Monday, the company said the product is being made available in 10mg & 20 mg dispersible orange flavoured tablets and in 10mg/ml & 20mg/ml dry syrup for paediatric use. The product is intended to supplement the ORS market, the release said.
