RPG Life Sciences MD resigns

Mumbai, April 3

Mr Murli Ramachandran, Managing Director of RPG Life Sciences Ltd has resigned from the post and from being a director with the company. The resignation is effective from March 31, 2006, the company told the Bombay Stock Exchange. Mr Ramachandran was quitting the post to pursue other opportunities, a company official told Business Line. Mr Pradipto Mohapatra, President of the technology sector in the RPG Group, will oversee operations at RPG Life Sciences till a new MD is appointed. The life-sciences business is part of the technology segment of the RPG Group, the official said. The stock option for 40,000 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each granted to Mr Murli Ramachandran also stands cancelled due to his resignation (effective from March 31, 2006) before the date of vesting ( October 19, 2006), the company told the BSE.
