SBI strike

With all the advance in management and management techniques that has been made, it is unfortunate that situations such as the strike by employees of the State Bank of India cannot be prevented. It is unfortunate that managers are part of a situation that is inconveniencing the public and hurting economic activity. The demand for more pension does not appear to be so urgent as to warrant a strike. In fact, this is a matter that needs to be settled along with the wage accord. An amicable settlement should be arrived at and the strike withdrawn without delay.
