14 cos attend CBM-III roadshow

The roadshow for the third round of the coal bed methane (CBM) being held in Brisbane, Australia, saw 14 explorations and production (E&P) companies participating. According to an official communiqué, the positive response to the offer is indicated as by the fact that the data room at Brisbane for CBM-III has already been booked by the companies. Among the companies which attended the roadshow include Beach Petroleum, Queensland Gas Company, Arrow Petroleum, Santos and BHP. The CBM-III offer was announced in February. While kicking off the roadshow, the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr Dinsha Patel, emphasised the commitment of his Government to stable policy framework and contract stability in oil and gas sector in the country, particularly the upstream sector.
