RBI Governor meets Chidambaram

New Delhi, April 5

Ahead of the Credit Policy, the Reserve Bank of India Governor, Dr Y.V. Reddy, on Wednesday met the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram.

The RBI would announce the credit policy on April 18.

It is understood that during the meeting, they discussed steps to improve liquidity in the system.

The meeting lasted for nearly an hour.
