Solidarity panel set up

Thiruvananthapuram, April 6

The coordination committee of the State Bank's Staff Union (Kerala Circle) and SBI Officers Association (Kerala Circle) has set up a solidarity panel in support of the cause of the striking members in the bank. The patrons of the committee are Mr Thennala Balakrishna Pillai, Mr Varkala Radhakrishnan and Mr Pannian Raveendran, all Members of Parliament, and Mr Jayan Babu, Mayor, Thiruvananthapuram. Other members are Mr C.H. Asokan (Chairman); Mr K.O. Habeeb, Mr Eby George, Mr K. Madhu, Mr K.P. Sankardas, Mr Dorairaj and Mr Charupara Ravi (all Vice-Chairmen); and Mr K. Chandrasekharan Nair (Convenor). Mr V.K. Jagannathan, Mr P.V. Jose and Mr T. Sasikumar will be Joint Convenors. Mr Babu Pothencode, Mr S. Rajasekharan Nair and Mr K.S. Gopinathan Nair will provide legal assistance.
