Convergence Trinity opens Pune centre
Our Bureau Pune , April 6 North Carolina-based Trinity Convergence, provider of Voice over Internet Protocol software solutions to manufacturers of consumer electronics and telecommunications equipment, has announced the opening of its development centre in Pune. The company designs, develops and licenses embedded VoIP software solutions that reduce time-to-market for original equipment manufacturers delivering next-generation IP-based communications equipment.
Mr Ajit Pendse, Chief Executive Officer, told presspersons that the company has invested Rs 5 crore in the new centre. Currently,ithas more than 50 embedded software engineers which the company plans to increase to 100 by the year-end.
VeriCall Edge platform
He said Trinity Convergence India would be focussed on mainstream product development and instrumental in development of next generation VoIP solutions. The key enabling technology would be developed in Pune and be a high value platform for VoIP devices. The company's flagship product is known as VeriCall Edge software platform.
