Rama Newsprint and Papers Ltd (RNPL) has achieved "zero" stock position as on March 31, 2006, a record in the history of the company.

Its production and sales for March 2006 were 12,040 tonne and 13,026 tonne respectively, which is also a record in a single month.

Although the installed capacity of the company's mill at Surat, Gujarat is 11,000 tonne per month, it can produce more than the installed capacity following various innovative changes done at the mill, after takeover by S.K. Bangur Group.
