Our Bureau

Hyderabad, April 6

Encouraged by the increasing inflow of tourists from Hyderabad to Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board is organising a two-day promotional campaign here on April 8 and 9. The campaign will feature dance performances by Singapore's Artistix Dancers and traditional Chinese Dough Doll maker and entertainer Pamela Wildheart. "Arrivals from Hyderabad to Singapore have gone up by 50 per cent in 2005. We see a good opportunity to further increase these numbers," the tourism board said here in a press release. Marking the fete, it announced special packages and deals from leading airlines and tour operators. These packages were priced from Rs 8,000. On April 10, the board officials will update travel agents on the latest product offerings.
