Banknet India is organising a summit on `Transformining through Technology' on May 10, 2006.

The second annual summit will bring together business heads from the banking industry as well as showcase the products of technology vendors across the globe.

According to an online survey conducted by Banknet India, respondents rated risk management and Basell II as the top priority for banks followed by core banking implementation, ATMs, e-banking and payment systems. Other priority areas identified were data mining, business intelligence, CRM, anti money laundering, information security and business continuity. "Due to integration of business and IT, the challenge for banks continues to be the usage of technology to effectively manage and deliver in a highly complex environment and transform their organisations into world class players," said a release from Banknet.
