H&R Johnson plans expansion

New Delhi, April 9

Tile company H&R Johnson (India) Ltd, is making an investment of Rs 40 crore at its Rajkot facility to increase the installed capacity from the present 5,000 sq.m. per day to 12,000 sq.m. per day. The capacity expansion programme is expected to be completed by middle of the year. Following the expansion, the Rajkot facility is expected to contribute a turnover of over Rs 200 crore per annum, according to the company. The company recorded sales revenue of Rs 740 crore for the financial year 2005-2006, up 36 per cent over the previous year's figures.
