Kanpur network, Hathway tie-up

Mumbai, April 9

Hathway Cable & Datacom Private Ltd said it has entered into a joint venture with the leading local cable TV network in Kanpur - Jai Mata Di Sherawali Cable Network (JMD). Managed by Mr Deep Chand Dixit and Mr. Sanjeev Dixit, JMD caters to 55 per cent of the Kanpur subscriber base. This joint venture expects to roll out the Hathway's broadband and digital services. Hathway is currently offering digital cable services in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad and expects to commence shortly in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh (Kanpur).
