Residency Coimbatore launching new fare in mango festival

Coimbatore , April 10

The Residency Coimbatore is introducing nine new desserts as part of its Mango Festival.

The festival will be on from April 12 till the end of the mango season. The selection includes pies, tarts, roulades, gateaux and a special mango whip. The hotel will also feature a special range of Easter bakes and goodies including Easter Eggs, Hot Cross Buns, Easter Gateaux, Chelsea Buns and home-made chocolates at its bakery from April 12 to 16. The hotel's poolside speciality restaurant, Afghan's Grill, which serves cuisine from the North West Frontier, sports a new menu from April 6.

The new spread includes ten non-vegetarian and 12 vegetarian kebabs, ten non-vegetarian and eight vegetarian gravies, and three new breads. The highlight is a new dessert, Gajar ka muzaffar, carrot halwa covered with thick condensed milk and baked into khoa.
