Uttam Sugar debuts at premium

Mumbai , April 10

Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd's shares were listed on BSE at a premium of 11.76 per cent at Rs 380, compared with the issue price of Rs 340 per share. On NSE, the shares were listed at Rs 379.70.

The shares hit the day's high of Rs 453 on both the stock exchanges, before ending at Rs 417.35 - a premium of 22.75 per cent from the issue price.

On NSE, the shares closed at Rs 416.30, a premium of 22.44 per cent from the issue price.

The New Delhi-based came out with a public issue of 40 lakh shares last month to part finance its expansion plans.
