Assam Co in pact with Austin co

New Delhi, April 10

Assam Company Ltd has floated a joint venture company with the Austin-based DMS Explorations. In a statement issued here on Monday, Mr K.K. Jajodia, Chairman, Assam Company, said the new company Austin Explorations Ltd would help in establishing energy security by leveraging on its technological expertise. Austin Explorations hopes to become a major global player in the oil and gas sector, he said. The company will be headquartered in Austin with offices in Delhi, London and Adelaide. The Chairman of Assam Company, Mr K.K. Jajodia will be the Chairman of the joint venture company and the President of DMS Exploration, Mr David Scheutte, will be the president for Austin Explorations.
