Dodsal Group bags Qatar Petro order

Mumbai, April 11

Dubai-headquartered Dodsal Group, an engineering, procurement and construction multi-national, has bagged a Rs 4,300-crore contract from the State-owned Qatar Petroleum for engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of the common cooling seawater system at Ras Laffan in Qatar. The system will cater to the needs of LNG trains at Qatar Gas and Ras gas, apart from supplying seawater to Q Power for cooling and desalination. A major part of the project is to be completed in 20 months, while the balance is expected to be wrapped up in the ensuing 13 months. The project covers design, supply and commissioning of mega pumps and transformers with a combined power requirement of about 120 MW.
