Bank staff hold demo

Kochi, April 13

Bank employees under the banner of All Kerala Bank Employees' Federation staged demonstrations at various centres in protest against the Union Government's/RBI move to introduce contract work in banking sector. Demonstrations were organised in front of the branches of various banks such as State Bank of Travancore, MG Road, Canara Bank, Ernakulam South, Punjab National Bank, Ravipuram branch, Central Bank of India at Pharmacy Junction and Federal Bank at Marine Drive.
