New Delhi , April 15

The board of directors of Nestlé India has declared an interim dividend for the year 2006 of Rs 6 per equity share.

The dividend will be paid to shareholders on and from May 9, together with the final dividend for the year 2005 of Rs 2 per equity share.

The final dividend was announced earlier and is subject to approval by the shareholders at the annual general meeting on April 25, 2006.
