Audio video concept centre set up in Chennai

Office 2000 Solutions Pvt Ltd has created an audio video (AV) concept centre in the city showcasing AV concepts and solutions for all businesses. The centre features the latest in computer and video projection, audio equipment, audio/video/computer switching, architectural cabling solutions and control systems, said a company official.

According to the company Director, Sales Operations, Ms Prabha Lakshmi, the yearly requirement of AV solution in India is about Rs 400 crore, and growing at over 100 per cent.

A company spends Rs 8 lakh-10 lakh on a good AV infrastructure that consists of lighting, sound, image and control, projectors, AV conference network, laptops and motorised screen.

The Rs 10-crore Chennai-based company does the entire AV system integration and its clients include Citi Bank, IIT Madras, Mindtree Consulting, Ford India and the Audio Visual Research Centre at Anna University.

The company has done about 2,700 installations across India, she told newspersons.
