Kasbah tool for Malaysian varsity

L.N. Revathy

Coimbatore , April 16

Kasbah Systems Software, the IT division of Krishna Industrial Corporation (KIC), is confident of bagging the Malaysian Government contract for implementing its university management system — Genius — across 19 universities in that country.

The company has got the sign off for implementing the solution at the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology, Malaysia.

The solution is currently up and running in 5 campuses of the University Putra Malaysia, said to be the largest university there, with total student enrolment at over a lakh.

The KIC Managing Director, Dr S.R.K. Prasad, has in the meantime initiated discussions with the Government of Malaysia for rolling out the solution across all universities. "
