Events Citibank team wins BL quiz Our Bureau

Chennai , April 16 The `Nawabs of Mahabs', a quiz team from Citibank won the Business Line Corporate Quiz competition presented by the Rotary Club of Madras, here on Sunday. The winning team, comprising Mr Rajiv Rai and Mr Rajen Prabhu, was one of the six teams that made it to the finals. The first runner-up was the team from Deloitte, Hyderabad, consisting of Mr Vinod Rajamani and Mr A. Muthuramakrishnan. The first prize included tickets for two to Los Angeles sponsored by Air India, holiday vouchers from Cosmos & Globus, two laptops from Intex Technologies, vouchers for Rs 25,000 to each member of the team from Godrej & Boyce, and gift vouchers from Colorplus and Hidesign. The first runner-up won a holiday for two to Europe. According to officials of the Rotary Club, 38 teams participated in the preliminary rounds and six made it to the finals.
