NDTV net down, revenues up

New Delhi , April 17

NDTV has registered revenues of Rs 223.90 crore for 2005-06 compared to Rs 179.8 crore in the previous year.

However, profit after tax fell from Rs 35.38 crore to Rs 27.53 crore, mainly because the company offered stock options to its employees.

For the fourth quarter the company registered revenues of Rs 70.44 crore (Rs 49.70 crore).

Net profit before stock option offer rose by 22 per cent to Rs 12.55 crore from Rs 10.29 crore recorded during the same period last year. Profit after tax and the stock options stood at Rs 2.01 crore.
