Oilseeds & Edible Oil RBD palmolein dips further Our Bureau
Mumbai , April 18 Groundnut oil, RBD palmolein and refined soya oil fell further on the local edible oil market on Tuesday mainly on increased offerings amid lack of continued buying interest. Sunflower oil expeller gained some fresh ground on some buying interest. Castor seed June futures recovered smartly on emergence of fresh buying support at lower level. RBD palmolein was down Rs 4 at Rs 378 per 10 kg. Groundnut oil raw was down Re 1 at Rs 478 per 10 kg. Imported refined soya oil was down Rs 3 at Rs 380 per 10 kg. Crude soya oil was up Rs 2 at Rs 367 per 10 kg. Sunflower oil expeller was up Rs 3 at Rs 405 per 10 kg. Castor oil commercial grade was steady at Rs 325 per 10 kg. In futures segment, castor seed June contracts were Rs 11 higher to end at Rs 1,562 per quintal.
Sugar firm
Sugar spot prices ruled firm at the Vashi wholesale market on Tuesday on limited but fresh buying interest amid limited offerings. Small grade (S-30) was up a rupee at Rs 1,940/2,001 per quintal over previous day. Medium grade (M-30) was steady at Rs 1,970/2,041 per quintal over previous close.
