Bharti to decide on retail foray soon

New Delhi, April 18

The decision on Bharti Group's foray into retail business would be finalised in the next three-four months, said Mr Sunil Mittal, Chairman and Group Managing Director, Bharti Tele-Ventures, on Tuesday.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Confederation of Indian Industry's annual conference here, he said, "Decision on the retail foray will be taken in the next three-four months. We are looking for a foreign partner to form a joint venture."

He also said that the company is planning to launch insurance operations in June.

On the company's plan for airport modernisation, he said, "We are open to bidding for airport modification."
