Reservation in private sector

When even two important government-departments — Defence and Scientific Research — are exempted from the policy of reservation, how can the private sector be compelled to adhere.

The Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, had once assured that `reservation' will not be imposed on the private sector.

The policy of reservation, per se, has failed to achieve the desired results. The benefits of reservation are enjoyed mainly by the creamy layer of Scheduled Castes and OBCs.
