National tech day celebration at Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram, April 21

The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) and surgicals major Terumo Penpol will jointly celebrate the National Technology Day here on May 11. Commemorative programmes will be held at 9.30 a.m. at the Achutha Menon Centre, SCTIMST, a spokesperson for Terumo Penpol said here. A science quiz and interactive sessions for students will be major highlights of the event that will stretch through the day. Leading scientists and technologists will speak to the student community about the exciting and rewarding opportunities that the science and technology stream offers in nation building.
