Samples tested for bird flu at AP lab

Hyderabad, April 21

As many as 154 samples analysed by National Institute of Virology were tested positive for chikun gunya in Andhra Pradesh. Of a total of 362 samples collected from 10 districts up to February 15, 202 were found to be negative. The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who reviewed the activities of Health Department, asked the officials to conduct surveys in all the districts to assess the situation and take preventive measures. — Our Bureau
