Granules India Q3 profits up 58pc

Granules India Ltd (GIL) has announced a growth of 15 per cent in sales turnover and 58 per cent in net profit for the third quarter ended March 2006. According to the un-audited financial results, the company posted a turnover of Rs 44.88 crore (Rs 39.04 crore) and a net profit of Rs 2.79 crore (Rs 1.77 crore). For the nine months period, the turnover improved by 31 per cent at Rs 132.59 crore, while net profit rose by 49 per cent at Rs 7 crore.
