Order for platform supply vessels

Mumbai, April 24

Greatship (India) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of GE Shipping Co Ltd, has signed a contract for two new platform supply vessels (PSVs). The UT 755 LN type vessels, ordered with Aker Yard of Norway, are scheduled to be delivered during the second and third quarters of 2008-09. The company's decision to order the vessels is with a view to be in the offshore support and logistic services business.
