International jewellery show in Mumbai

Mumbai, April 25

The India International Jewellery Show 2006 (IIJS) is being held in Mumbai from May 4-8. Over 30,000 international and domestic trade visitors are expected at the fair. So far, 13,346 pre-registrations have been done. The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has made investments to the tune of Rs 12 crore to build the infrastructure at the venue.

ICICI Bank said it is the official bank for IIJS 2006. The bank is also installing EDC machines at all regional GJEPC offices.
