CADS India to double headcount

Chennai, April 26

CADS Software India, a subsidiary of the UK-based CADS Ltd, plans to double its employee strength in Chennai to about 700 and revenue to about Rs 45 crore in the next three years, according to Mr Jonathan Frvett, Financial Director, CADS Ltd. The Indian subsidiary, which is completing 10 years of its operations, supplies critical software development and testing support, generates software sales and provides customer training. The subsidiary would have increased focus on designing structural analysis and auto CAD (computer aided design). CADS UK has over 3,500 customers in 74 countries, and its customers include consulting engineers, civil engineering contractors, builders and governments, he said.
