Revive sorting sections of RMS

The delays experienced nowadays in the delivery of post is due to the abolition of sorting sections of Railway Mail Service in the running trains, apart from stopping the airlift of letters to the metros.

The Government, in desiring to amend the Post-Office Act, should consider restoring the exclusive privilege of to the Department of Posts to convey letters up to 300 gm weight and should also think of reviving the RMS sorting sections and air-lift of letters, as before, to ensure delivery of letters the next day and serve the public interest, including the village residents.
