Washbasins, showers, faucets and water closets are today works of art. Not just functional but designed to suit one's lifestyle and personality. Mr P.M. Shaji, Managing Director, la exclusive lifestyle (p) ltd, a franchise of FCML in Chennai, said that there was a huge market for such lifestyle products in this city. The majority of the products are targeted at the upper middle class and some for the premium end of the market.

The cost of outfitting a bathroom would depend on the type of products selected. A bathroom would cost anything from Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh and could go up to Rs 50 lakh too, he said

The brands available are Jacob Delfone, Kohler, Art Ceram, Alape, Grohe, Dron Bracht, Fantini and Sce to name a few.

The FCML store, which deals in lifestyle products, will be opening on May 2 on Chennai's High Street aka Khader Nawaz Khan Road.
