A SCENE ON the Devikulam-Udumbanchola route in the high ranges. Kerala, with most of its forest wealth concentrated in sparsely populated hilly terrain, will benefit from the proposed hill highway, which will shorten the distance between various agricultural production centres. It is also expected to accelerate tourism projects in these areas.
