Hyderabad, May 1

Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) has tied up with the US-based Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology to offer aviation and engineering technology courses. The agreement offered a combination of choices to students. "Students can study the programme completely in India or in the US. Or, they can do part of the course in the US, while doing the major portion at SNIST, Hyderabad," Mr K.T. Mahi, Secretary of Sree Educational Society, said. Doing the course completely in the US would cost a student $60,000, while it would cost just $8,000 in India. Announcing the tie-up at a press conference here on Monday, he said the courses would cover aircraft operations, airline management, aviation maintenance, aircraft operations and avionics.
