Air Arabia starts Kochi service

Kochi , May 1

Air Arabia, the only low-fare airline in West Asia and North Africa, made its inaugural flight to Kochi on Monday. The flight carrying Air Arabia's CEO, Mr Adel Ali, a delegation of senor officials from UAE, media and guests was received in Kochi by the Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs, Mr Vayalar Ravi, and Mr V.J. Kurian, Managing Director of Cochin International Airport Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Adel Ali, said: "It is a historic moment for Air Arabia to fly to Kochi, our third destination in India. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Indian government and civil aviation authorities for their support and cooperation. We look forward to developing trade and tourism between the UAE and India."
