Mr Anurag Goel took over as Secretary, Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA), here on Monday.

Mr Goel belongs to the 1972 batch of Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Prior to this appointment, he was Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. He succeeds Ms Komal Anand, who relinquished charge of the post on superannuation on Sunday.
