Thiruvananthapuram , May 2

The fourth Kerala Travel Mart, KTM 2006 will be held in Kochi during September 28-30, according to tourism industry sources. Organised by the Kerala Travel Mart Society as a public-private partnership, the event is intended to create a platform for `sellers' such as hotels, resorts, tour operators, houseboat operators and speciality hospitals to interact with `buyers' such as tour operators and the travel media. As in previous years, this year's KTM is expected to attract participants from across the world, the sources added.

KTM 2004 held in Kochi had attracted `buyers' from new markets such as China, Russia and the US. The last edition of KTM focused on promoting eco-tourism and lesser-known destinations in Kerala such as Wayanad. For more details visit www.keralatravelmart.org. .
